Thanksgiving COVID Travel Updates/Reminders

As we head into the thanksgiving break, I just wanted to update you on the safe state travel list - it is now only Vermont and Hawaii that are safe. If you are travelling to Vermont, please watch, because NH and Maine came off the list this past weekend and Vermont could be removed at any time.

Reminders/Quarantine Requirements:

If you are welcoming out of state relatives (college students/family members) into your home from an at risk area, please have them get tested first and isolate while waiting results as per the Governor's travel restrictions.

If you are traveling to a high risk area, upon returning to MA, you must quarantine 14 days OR produce a negative PCR test before returning to school. Rapid tests are no longer accepted for travelers. Children under 10 years of age do not need to be tested, but do need to produce a negative test from a parent they traveled with,. Again, this is per the Governor's travel restrictions.

Further information about in home gatherings and Thanksgiving guidance from the Governor's Office can be found at www.ma.gov

Smaller groups will keep people safe and hopefully you have more leftovers! Have a safe and relaxing holiday.
